Looks like Valley Link finally splurged on a venue big enough for their “Land Confiscation 101” masterclass this Thursday, March 12, 3:30–7:30 p.m. at the Betty J. Queen Center in Louisa County. Hope everyone who received a letter is showing up because this is it for any chance at questions or feedback. Fingers crossed they didn’t cheap out and cram everyone into a broom closet—anyone confirm they actually booked a real room? Their PR wizard Rob Richardson swears it’ll be “one-on-one face time” for the whole county. Four glorious hours. They mailed invites to every soul in Louisa, so yeah, that should be plenty of time for 20,000 people to each get a heartfelt chat about exactly how much of their land is getting seized. Totally doable. Anyone else baffled there’s only one meeting? What if you have a job, kids, or—gasp—actual plans? If they genuinely wanted “county-wide feedback” on this glorious eminent-domain surprise they sprung on us three weeks ago, you’d think they’d schedule at least four sessions over a couple of weeks instead of one rushed cattle call. But hey, when you’re in a hurry to steal property, who has time for logistics? @Louisa County Department of Fire/EMS , take notes from your Orange County cousins: roll the Blackstones into the parking lot, sling smash burgers to the peasants while they wait in line to beg for scraps of their own dirt. Hell of a fundraiser—and way better optics than pretending four hours of “listening” equals consent.
