Looks Like SF 49'ers Are Getting Smart

Theodora Scarato, an EMF expert, pointed this gem of a video out to me. The San Francisco Niners are apparently considering moving their practice field away from the massive substation right next door. Watch the full video below. Best quote by Chase Senior from the video:

"I mean you look at photos of the Niners practicing there at the SAP Performance Center, and you go there, and it is still so odd to see this massive electrical substation, neighboring the practice field and hovering over the entire facility. Let me ask you this, would you build and buy a house by a huge electrical substation like that ? I know I wouldn't. ... Year in and year out the Niners have been one of the most injured teams in the NFL."

Theodora is a recognized expert on the science and policy issues of non-ionizing electromagnetic fields (EMF). Her research has focused on children, wildlife and comparing U.S. to international regulations. She works for Environmental Health Sciences, a nonpartisan, nonprofit news and science organization that aims to drive good science into public policy and public discussion on our environment and health.

I would LOVE to get her down to central Virginia for a community meeting. I believe she would have quite a bit to say about the human and environmental impact of 765KV lines and substations.
